Consulting Resource Associates (CRA), www.cra-consultingresource.com, a Michigan-based management consulting firm founded in 1991 as a Michigan corporation, has as its mission helping client organizations improve performance and realize their full potential. CRA consists of twenty-some experienced management consulting Senior Associates. CRA Senior Associates help clients achieve operational and financial performance improvements by applying functional skills and in-depth experience in strategic planning, business and information technology planning, operations management, technology deployment, organizational design, product and market analysis, quality and continuous improvement, and financial and strategic planning reporting. Industries and organizations CRA serves include higher education, manufacturing, insurance, healthcare, airlines, retail, distribution, government and community service not-for-profit organizations. In addition to the firm’s performance improvement work, CRA has a robust litigation support practice assisting defense counsel as expert witnesses in matters concerning contract disputes, wrongful discharge and discrimination. CRA also acts in a facilitator role helping clients buy and sell businesses. This work, together with our performance improvement work, has led to the firm’s increasing involvement and assistance in the creation of new businesses. All these assignments and our close referral relationships with attorneys have led to our performance of business valuations. Also, in connection with our performance improvement work, CRA is frequently asked to perform senior level executive searches. Kenneth G. Myers, a career management consultant, established CRA in 1991. Early in his career at Touche Ross & Co., after a period of work in the manufacturing and distribution industries, Mr. Myers became the national director for all professional services to the healthcare industry. Later, at Plante & Moran, one of the nation’s largest regional management consulting and accounting firms, he founded and led the creation of that firm’s management consulting practice. At KPMG Peat Marwick, beginning in 1982, he was the partner-in-charge of management consulting for Michigan and Western Ohio. At CRA since 1991, Mr. Myers directs and participates in all phases of the firm’s work.
