September 11th, 2011 - CRA continues to engage in a collaborative arrangement with O/E Learning, Inc. (O/E) to address and fulfill a critically important need of many colleges and community colleges, the development of an expanded offering of distance learning course and degree programs. O/E, a Michigan corporation founded in 1984, has an outstanding reputation for its work designing and delivering on-line distance learning courses and training programs for companies and organizations in many industries. O/E, in a joint venture with CRA, now is taking this experience to institutions of higher learning desiring to expand their distance learning course and degree program offerings. O/E has a demonstrated capability to accomplish this course design and implementation with high quality and a product completion timetable not normally achievable with only in-house resources. Combining CRA’s experience serving higher education institutions with O/E’s course delivery capabilities and reputation results in what we believe is a very effective and value-added service. Our work in this arena for a college or community college in most instances begins with an assessment of the institutions progress and achievements in developing and offering distance learning courses and degree programs, an identification of issues and barriers that need to be addressed and overcome and the definition of the implementation steps to achieve the distance leaning offering goals of the institution. The end product of our assessment is a detailed work plan for the design and development of the desired course and degree program offerings. O/E then stands ready to assist in carrying out the agreed upon course and degree program design, development and implementation. O/E Learning provides distance learning education programs and support services to universities, colleges, public/private institutions and training academies.
