James Jarvis is a CRA Senior Associate. Concurrently, he is a Certified Mortgage Broker, in which capacity he serves as president of White Pines Funding, LLC, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Previously, Mr. Jarvis spent ten years in wholesale lending in the mortgage industry, where he engaged in the purchase of government conventional and non-conforming loans. He is a Certified Trainer for the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. Earlier, he held various management and loan officer positions. At CRA, Mr. Jarvis plays an active role in helping identify and respond to clients seeking performance improvement assistance. Mr. Jarvis is a member of the Western Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association, the Mortgage Bankers Association of Michigan, the Mortgage Bankers of America and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. He is a member of the Michigan, Indiana and Ohio Mortgage Broker Associations and serves on their education and membership committees. As an approved trainer for NAMB, he teaches classes for the associations in all three states. Mr. Jarvis received an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University.
