Stephen A. Surhigh is a CRA Senior Associate. Mr. Surhigh has nearly 20 years of operations, sales and management consulting experience. Mr. Surhigh provides specialized expertise in the development and implementation of product development, marketing, sales and operational methodologies. Mr. Surhigh previously was in charge of business development for a specialized outsourcing provider where he grew revenues over eight years from $5 million to nearly $35 million. While directing this program, Mr. Surhigh led all marketing, sales and channel management for the acquisition of new business. He also created a joint venture with a global services firm to expand services into new vertical markets. Mr. Surhigh combines his financial and technical expertise to define new products and services, expand into new markets, restructure unprofitable business segments, and improve operational and administrative support processes. Calling on his analytical and financial management skills, Mr. Surhigh is a key member of our litigation support team where he makes detailed and often complex economic damages determinations for plaintiffs in the cases our counsel is defending. In this role, he often is asked to analyze and evaluate the economic damage calculations of the plaintiff damages expert and then compare this evaluation with his own findings. This comparative and objective evaluation often becomes a key component of the defense in our representation and expert witness support. From 1987 to 1991, Mr. Surhigh was a senior consultant with Coopers & Lybrand’s management consulting practice. He focused on improving the business performance of technology-based organizations through more effective project management and capital investment. His assignments included leading a twenty-five-member team during the installation and customization of an ERP application and managing numerous technology deployment programs.
