Mr. Makowski started his career in 1989 working with IBM as an education instruction specialist for K-12 and higher education institutions. He specializes in the use of technology in the training and education fields. He joined O/E Learning in 1994 as a multimedia developer working on interactive courseware instructional design and became a project manager and director working on many instructor-led and technology-based training and performance improvement initiatives. In his work with Consulting Resource Associates (CRA), www.cra-consultingresource.com ,Mr. Makowski serves as the O/E joint venture project coordinator. In this role, he works with the CRA performance improvement consulting team focusing on distance education strategic planning and assessment, technology integration, course conversions, and implementation support services for schools, community colleges, colleges and universities. Mr. Makowski has presented at many leading industry events covering such topics as e-learning design, simulations, knowledge management, electronic performance support, training return on investment, virtual classrooms, and blended learning. He is a member of the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI) and the Project Management Institute (PMI) and actively supports the use and integration of standardized project management and instructional design methodologies into workplace performance programs. Mr. Makowski earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering and Business Marketing from Michigan State University and an M.S. degree in Information, Management and Communication from Walsh College.
